Meet the captain

Born on this coast.

Edgar grew up in Tamarindo and has spent more than twenty years guiding boats through the estuary and out into the Pacific. He knows where the crocs sleep, where the birds nest, and where the fish run with the tide.

Every tour is run personally — no big company, no third party. Just one captain, one well-kept boat, and a real love for this little corner of Costa Rica.

He speaks English and Spanish, and is happy to tailor the trip to what you want to see and do.

For me, every tour is personal. I show you the same coast my grandfather showed me — and I want you to leave loving it as much as I do.

Best thing we did in Costa Rica. Saw three crocodiles, a family of howler monkeys, and so many birds. The captain was patient and clearly loves what he does.
Sarah & Mike · Toronto, Canada
Booked the half-day fishing trip and landed two roosterfish on my first time ever. He found the fish, set everything up, and made it easy. Highly recommend.
David · Austin, TX
Took the snorkeling trip with the kids and they’re still talking about the parrotfish. Calm water, clear visibility, and the captain made everyone feel at ease.
